What are the Hanging Gardens?
Inaugurated in March 2024 by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Hanging Gardens is one of Sharjah’s most ambitious tourism projects to date. Perched 281 metres above sea level and covering 1.6 million square feet, the park combines natural beauty with family-friendly amenities.

Where to find It and how to get there
The Hanging Gardens is easily accessible via the Sharjah-Kalba Road (E102). From Sharjah city, drive through the Kalba Tunnel — the gardens will be on your right with clear signage and ample parking available.
Dining with a view
Dining here is an experience in itself. The upper-level restaurant, built in traditional wooden architecture, offers 270-degree views of the gardens and can seat 100 guests. A central restaurant caters to larger groups, accommodating up to 215 diners.
Perfect for families and adventure seekers
Kids can enjoy three age-specific play zones, while teens and adults can take on the climbing trails or practice tricks at the skate park. For a more relaxed experience, the garden train (which seats 55 passengers) stops at four shaded stations, allowing visitors to hop on and off while exploring.

Admission to the Hanging Gardens is just Dh5, making it an affordable day out. Key amenities include:
